Amidst the dusty and often dreary nature of the industrial machinery industry, JPN Industrial trading has risen above the smog and stands as a beacon of consumer-focused design, reliability, and innovation. Its journey, rooted in the year 1988, embodies a relentless pursuit of excellence and sheer commitment to providing the best possible end user experience.
From humble beginnings with its founder, Philip Lim Eng Chee, repairing small machinery with his own hands, JPN swiftly carved a niche for itself with the founder’s perfectionistic eye keeping quality control standards at an industry high. As such, amidst a market saturated with low quality and often faulty machines, JPN developed a unique reputation for having unmatched aftermarket support; mechanical fault was so rare that when it did happen, JPN could afford to dispatch engineers to fix or replace the entire unit – free of charge.
As the company’s loyal customer base grew, the name “JPN” started to become well known in the industry - so much so that it was granted land with direct port access by the government. Whilst many are happy to settle in such a state, JPN still hungers for more. With a vision to transcend national boundaries and establish JPN as a regional powerhouse, the company ventured into neighbouring Malaysia. In 1991, JPN Industrial Trading Sdn. Bhd. was born in Kuala Lumpur, followed by P&N Industrial Trading Sdn. Bhd .in Johor in 1994. Three years later, JPN Equipment (East Coast) Sdn. Bhd. emerged in Terengganu. By 1997, with a formidable presence spanning the central, southern, and eastern regions of Malaysia and other countries such as Indonesia, JPN emerged as a formidable name in southeast Asia.

Recognizing the need to evolve in a fiercely competitive market, the founders embarked on a strategic journey to elevate JPN's offerings: with extensive firsthand experience using the machines he repairs and sells, the founders set out to design, innovate and push industry standards to new highs, rectifying inefficiencies and focusing on the end user experience he wished he had in the past with the new line of home designed and manufactured McWel Generators, Welders, Water Pump & Lighting Towers.
What sets JPN apart from the competition is not just its extensive geographic reach or unrivalled aftermarket support, but the team’s dedication to sustainability which underscores every aspect of operations, from minimizing environmental impact to fostering long-term socio-economic growth in the communities it serves. JPN continuously strives to push the boundaries of what's possible, leveraging the team’s practical expertise and forward-thinking practices to deliver solutions that transcend expectations. JPN has already changed landscapes and moved lakes with its lineup of heavy machinery and water pumps being directly involved in various infrastructure megaprojects, but JPN will not stop there. JPN plans to push into new geographic markets such as China, and into a green future with its new lines of proprietary batteries and green power solutions such as solar power.
Recognizing the need to shift towards not only more sustainable products but also manufacturing processes, JPN has embarked on a journey to reduce its carbon footprint across all its factories, starting with the installation of sufficient solar panels on roofs to cover all its energy demands and more. JPN urge fellow Singaporean manufacturers to do the same and join the company as it takes the first of many steps to realizing a carbon neutral future.
