ELIGIBILITY
The Awards is open to Small & Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Singapore. To be eligible, your company needs to fulfil the following criteria:
- A minimum annual turnover of SGD 500,000 (services / ICT) / SGD 1,000,000 (manufacturing / trading / wholesaling)
- Can either be a holding company or a subsidiary. If the holding company participates, all subsidiaries will not be eligible
- Must not be listed on any stock exchange or market share

Pre-qualification
Self-determination or organiser invitation
Nomination
Submission of nomination form and supporting documentations
Financial verification
Verification of information provided by nominee
Remote audit
A mandatory remote audit conducted through a scheduled online session.
Qualitative judging
Nominations are vetted and nominees may be required to answer additional questions
Final scoring and ranking
Winners will be ranked using the proprietary SME100 methodology
Announcement of results
Winners will be informed and required to sign the acceptance of awards and rules and regulation
SME100 awards ceremony
To be held at a 5-star international hotel and convention venue
Post-award publicity
CONFIDENTIALITY
To maintain confidentiality, the profit of participating companies will NOT be released publicly. Operating profit and financial ratios will only be used for the purpose of ranking and will be published only as a percentage or ratio.
However, profit and other figures may be used for research purposes, for which authorisation is deemed to have been received from all participating companies upon submission of the Nomination Form. The organisers’ decisions on all aspects of this programme including ranking, evaluation and publication of the list will be final.
