Founded in 1984, SJP began as a sealing device company supplying mechanical packing, gasket and mechanical seals to the marine industry. The continuous development program and investment in the latest technology enables the Gasket Manufacturing division to manufacture metallic gaskets like kammprofile gaskets, corrugated gaskets, spiral wound gaskets, double jacketed gaskets up to 5 meters in diameter. SJP utilized CNC automated knife gasket cutters, CNC laser cutters, in conjunction with various other equipment to meet the demand for cut gaskets from CNAF, filled PTFE, flexible graphite, rubber, metal inserted and steel. The ability to cut non-standard geometric shapes without manual fabrication or development of a cutting die allows SJP to fulfil customers’ needs without needless cost and delay. SJP’s excellence in manufacturing and a philosophy by maintaining and improving quality performance has been proven by the quality systems like ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and API 6FB, in addition to many other authorities and organizations.

Besides all types of the sealing devices under one platform, SJP specializes in mechanical seal, pump refurbishment and recondition in all make of seals and pumps by possessing the technology, using ultra sophisticated equipment and stringent quality control to guarantee the high standard. The Mechanical Seal Refurbishment Centre offers braided, die-formed and injectable compound solutions to reduce leakage, extend average time between repair and repack, reduce fugitive emissions, moreover improve reliability and extend performance of fluid handling equipment. In addition, SJP also provides on-site assistance for the installation and maintenance of the equipment.

In line with changes to the industry, SJP is also expanding to the painting and coating division. The Inhouse Blasting & Painting Facility (ARC & Ceramic Beads Coating) combines the resources and strength to solve today’s most complex industrial wear problems on elbows, pipes, pump casings, chutes, feeders, cyclones, fans and impellers against corrosion, erosion and chemical attack. SJP rebuild, repair and protect these equipment and surfaces by extending equipment life, efficiency and minimizing downtime.
Furthermore, SJP’s Industrial and Marine Maintenance division offers products and total system solutions for production process, facility and maintenance needs in cleaners and degreasers, high temperature greases and lubricants, metal working fluids, maintenance specialty like anti-seize compound, penetrating oil, belt dressing, moldable gasketing and corrosion control.
