SINAR WIDURI SDN BHD (SWSB) was established in early 2002 by Keith Yap and his partners, a group of construction enthusiasts with decades of diverse industry knowledge and expertise, a passion for quality building and a reputation for delivering results.

SWSB offers flexible, customer-oriented services regardless of the project’s delivery method. Whether a project entails construction from ground up, interior fitouts, major additions, renovations or complete redevelopment, SWSB is a general contractor with which people want to work.

SWSB is recognised for the calibre of its work as well as its ability to understand its clients’ needs and project requirements, transforming building concepts and ideas into realities. Its diverse portfolio includes highway, toll plaza, regional medical and healthcare institution, academic institution, factories, national retail and commercial projects.

Integrity is imperative to SWSB and lies at the heart of project delivery by the company. Maintaining integrity has had a direct impact on the company’s ability to complete projects with a commitment to the highest levels of quality and safety. The company listens well throughout the planning and construction process to ensure the project is functional, efficient, and cost-effective.

Every challenge in our journey is like a game, either we confront them or we run away from them. People who know me, I never turn away. At the end of the game, I might be a loser or a winner but at least I tried. Losing teaches us most of the lessons. Nobody is born to be a winner, it costs time and effort. I am lucky that I have my loyal and dedicated team supporting me.

Keith Yap, Director

Its dedication has successfully retained clients and managed to secure projects, thanks to its on-time project delivery with cost-efficient construction techniques. During the Covid pandemic, SWSB managed to secure three projects from bidding. The company has restructured to transform into a bigger organisation by recruiting more competent employees in order to accommodate for the new projects and to cope with its expansion plan.

Despite the forced operational slow down due the lock down announced by our government, the company has not stopped improving its policies and procedures. Thus, SWSB feels it is an achievement that its team has managed to develop an extensive project management plan, stringent quality assurance and control as well as a detailed safety, health and environment monitoring plan during the period.

From the financial perspective, SWSB expects to triple its revenue for its financial year 2022. While in terms of the human resource development, SWSB has increase its organisation chart from two-tire hierarchy to four-tier structure.

The company believes its professionalism is proven based on its track record and the positive data showing the growth of the company. Soon, SWSB plans to extend its business to the neighbouring countries.
