HWBSB, incorporated in Malaysia in 1984, began as a small trading company supplying sanitaryware, water heaters, and tap fittings. Over the past four decades, it has grown steadily into one of the nation’s leading plumbing and water-infrastructure solution providers. The company serves a wide range of clients, including main contractors, developers, and government agencies involved in constructing hotels, residential developments, commercial properties, and major infrastructure projects.

In its early years, HWBSB focused primarily on the building and construction sector. A major transformation occurred in late 2018 when the company diversified into the water-supply and infrastructure market. Recognising the expanding national demand for water-related solutions, HWBSB strategically ventured into supplying products to local water authorities. This shift significantly strengthened the company’s market presence, leading to strong partnerships with almost all water authorities across West Malaysia. Moving forward, HWBSB aims to replicate this success in East Malaysia, targeting water authorities, developers, and main contractors in Sabah and Sarawak.

HWBSB’s comprehensive product portfolio includes HDPE pipes, HDPE fittings, valves, sanitaryware, water heaters, and tapware. The ability to support both large-scale project requirements and small renovation needs reinforces its position as a “One Stop Plumbing Solution Centre.” The company also offers its own house-brand products through OEM collaborations with established manufacturers in China, namely Senna, JK, and Fuis. In addition, HWBSB is the exclusive Malaysian distributor for Duvalco valves, Rothenberger tools, Hamlem electrofusion machines & PAM St Gobain D.I.Pipes—brands known for quality and performance.

To support its expanding operations, HWBSB operates two major warehouses located in Jalan Puchong and Bangi. These facilities function both as storage hubs and retail outlets, ensuring efficient logistics, fast delivery, and convenient access for small contractors and plumbers.

Despite economic uncertainties and the challenges of the post-pandemic period, HWBSB has achieved strong financial performance. Annual turnover increased progressively from year to year.
