Who is Phaidon?
Phaidon International Singapore is the APAC regional hub of an award-winning global recruitment group called Phaidon International, the parent company of five organically grown recruitment businesses specialising across important industry sectors. Since 2011, Phaidon Singapore has organically grown from one brand and three employees to four brands and sixty employees, providing recruitment solutions to hundreds of clients in over 17 APAC countries. The business is led by a Singaporean who has been with “Team Singapore” since its inception. 100 percent of the leadership joined as graduate trainees and have progressed their careers with the company entirely on merit. 76 percent of the staff are Singaporean, with 66 percent of the leadership team composed of women.Phaidon is quietly proud of its local Singapore success story which has demonstrated a pedigree of serving the Singapore business community, delivering CSR to local students in partnership with Halogen, developing Singaporean talent and delivering exciting growth. Despite COVID-19, in July 2020, its Singapore team delivered an all (at the) time sales record, which was surpassed in March 2021 with a new record of in net fee income. It is because of Singapore’s sustained successful performance that the company chose it as the APAC Regional Headquarters.
Within the region Phaidon has wholly-owned offices in Hong Kong and Shanghai and a further nine offices across Europe and America. This enables the company to work globally - often bringing Singaporean talent home from overseas.
What does the company do?
Each brand is united by a common purpose: To solve one of the key challenges faced by organisations and business leaders locally, regionally and globally – attracting and securing business-critical talent.An example is its partnership with BioNtech. The company’s life sciences brand, EPM Scientific found the business-critical talent who successfully contributed to bringing the Pfizer/BioNtech COVID-19 vaccine to market. Likewise, its DSJ Global brand sourced the supply chain experts who helped distribute the vaccine globally.
