Special Thought started with online blogging in 2008 and its first retail outlet was set up in 2010 located at SS2 Petaling Jaya. Carrying its own brand name SS2U Wedding®, the company has continued to grow as a popular one-stop wedding supplies provider and its product quality and service is well-known to customers.
And the passion never ends here...
In 2015, Special Thought’s wedding businesses expanded into party and gifts to reach more consumers like teenagers, young executives, tourists, corporate companies, event organizers and even expatriates with different races and backgrounds. The company also launched the brand called D’Special Day™. The first outlet was started in July 2015 located at Sunway Pyramid and has been doing remarkably well until this date. Currently it has expanded to four branches in the Klang Valley. Despite the competitive market, the brand is still well received by customers. Special Thought was awarded by Tallypress.com as No. 1 rated Chinese Wedding Supplies Stores in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor. During the pandemic, Special Thought was named as the top Party Supplier in Malaysia by FunEmpire.com and received MyMalaysia SME award presented by the Ministry of Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives.
The team has been dedicated in achieving good customer service and product quality. The products are updated frequently and customer service is always kept impeccable. Prices are also kept at an affordable level to attract new customers and keep loyal ones.
Special Thought would like to celebrate its success by staying at the top. Many of its partners and competitors in the retail and events industry has ceased operations due to the pandemic, but Special Thought has kept growing with innovations. Special Thought is also giving back to the community by acting as mentor for entrepreneurship learning at tertiary education institutions.
