In the past, trusts were traditionally offered to the wealthy as a form of legacy planning. However, UBBT’s founder, Francis Pang, thought differently. He believed that trusts should be made available to everyone, regardless of their wealth or social status. Thus, in 2014, he established UBBT Agency Sdn. Bhd. The company's strategy was to cater to the evolving trustee industry by giving every family a chance to set a trust for themselves and the people they care about.
