Videv Consulting Sdn. Bhd. was established in 2008 with the primary idea of giving HR Legal advisory and providing corporate training. Over the years, Videv evolved and started expanding its services into providing Executive and Management Development Programme in 2012.
As Videv serves its corporate clients, there was a huge interest in tertiary education and Videv partnered with University Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS) and started offering Executive Masters in Business Administration. The first batch was recruited in 2019 and the graduation was completed on 4 November 2022.
The company’s revenue started growing with the business evolving. Started as an individual in the business, Videv now employs 8 full time employees and 4 Business Associates. This is a significant achievement for a small training provider. Covid-19 pandemic gave greater mileage for Videv as the company increased its clients especially SMEs who were struggling as a result of the pandemic. Videv saw the need for SMIs/SMEs to have HR solutions not relying 100% on human beings as the situation became so vulnerable. The affordability of the SMI/SME for experienced HR professionals was challenging and existing systems and software cannot manage the HR Legal aspect.
Besides that, Videv came across many homepreneurs and micro business owners having challenges in delivery as the price became too expensive if they use regular movers and not competitive with established business.
Seeing the dilemma of these two groups, Videv brainstormed and came out with 2 phenomenal ideas, VIGO (online delivery platform) and AIHRA (Automated & Integrated HR Application) that features HR Legal Reference. Both projects are on testing stages and the mobile apps are into the final stage.
Videv has continuously strive to look at solutions that can provide immediate relieve to the needs of both employees and employers. Their vision; Vision for Development is commendable with the growth and achievements of their respective staffs and their journey with the organisation.
When the world was going through economic and social impact; and employers were struggling to sustain and people were losing employment, Videv instead of just looking at how to make money and profits; started looking at options how they can contribute with their means to cushion the negative impacts.
