Wastech Group currently has a strong presence and established business relationships throughout Asia, particularly in multiple locations throughout Malaysia, North America and Oceania. The Group has more than 89,400 hectares of plantations using its specialty fertilisers, mostly palm oil plantations on peat soils, through its subsidiary Wastech Multigreen Sdn. Bhd.

The Controlled Release Fertiliser (CRF), which is the company’s primary product, is a fertiliser with a specific polymer coating that allows nutrients to be released at a constant rate over time. Compared to conventional fertilisers, this results in low nutrient loss to the environment. Wastech is committed to collaborating with clients to determine their precise needs in order to provide bespoke solutions that result in positive outcomes.

Wastech has expanded its commercial field trials for CRF to include multiple nurseries and rubber tree plantations, as well as increased its exports of specialised fertilisers to Myanmar, China, Singapore, Papua New Guinea, and other countries.
