Welpack Engineering & Trading Sdn. Bhd. is an engineering company that specializes in supplying all sorts of food packaging equipment and tools, and a one stop-centre for complete packaging solutions. Headquartered in Puchong, Welpack is a parts and services distributor for Hayssen Packing Machine from the USA and Budpak Weighing Machine from Australia for more than 10 years.
Welpack’s range of machinery options includes vertical form fill seal machine, horizontal form fill seal machine, feeding system, automatic weighing system, coding and marking, metal detector, check weigher, robotic palletizing, pallet stretch wrapping machine and more. The packaging solutions we serve a wide range of food industries – white sugars, coffee, confectionery snack foods, frozen foods, fresh produce, cheese, and many more. Welpack also serve non-food industries, including pet food, personal care, pharmaceutical, agricultural, and industrial products.
We would like to thank the committee of SME100 for this award. It’s an honour. 2022 has certainly been a challenging yet very interesting year. Challenging in the sense with the lockdown and movement restrictions order and yet interesting because we are diversifying our engineering and automation businesses to a more resilient industry which is in the food and beverages and the FMCG sector. Our customers have been very supportive to us and in return our colleagues have been ever-ready to support them through this tough period of time. The award for SME100 is not only a recognition to the sacrifices made by our colleagues but also has become the ultimate accolade in the business industry.

Welpack is able to provide a complete turnkey packaging end of line for the food and beverage industry specializing in sugar, evaporated and sweet condense milk (SCM) with local engineers that provides ad hoc services and support for all the after sales like schedule maintenance. Backed by years of experience, Welpack is able to provide consultancy for productivity efficiency throughout the production line. Welpack is certified ISO 9001 and a CIDB certified company.Through the years, Welpack is dedicated and passionate in its core business (engineering and automation). The team will continue to refine its skills and knowledge in machinery and systems and grow the business to create more business opportunities. Not only we are able to sustain our business, but to grow the business Year-on-year and creating more business opportunities.
