PEN Express Group is a 1-stop logistics service provider headquartered in Penang, with 8 other
offices and warehouses spread across the northern region to the south. Our core services are
Air, Ocean, Land Transportation, Distribution Centre and Customs Brokerage. Authorised by the
Royal Malaysian Customs, we are a fully licensed freight forwarding company that provides a
global service across all 7 continents from general cargo handling to specialised cargo such as
Dangerous Goods (DG), Project Cargo, Chartering, aircraft engines, aviation, etc.
Having our own Customs Brokerage License has enabled us to directly manage all Customs
Clearance for our customers. On top of that, we have a specialised team to handle Authorised
Economic Operator (AEO) programme and we also provide consultancy services for various
government license applications.
PEN Express Group is one of the few local companies in Malaysia, who operates independently at the Airport Warehouses in Penang International Airport (PEN) and Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KUL), which gives us the competitive advantage to directly oversee all the air cargo transfer and submissions of our import and export shipments. Additionally, as a certified IATA agent, we are able to deal with the airline companies directly and with our increasing fleet of Bonded Trucks from 1 tonners to 40 footers, we have the flexibility to control the traffic and better supervise all of our customers’ delivery and pick up schedules.
For the past decade, we have expanded our expertise to operating a Public Bonded Warehouse where we are providing 3rd Party Logistics (3PL) services and offering facilities such as Aircond and Non Aircond warehouse to cater to our customers’ needs. With our own Warehouse Management System (WMS), we are able to effectively organise our customers’ inventories.
As the appointed forwarder to several global multinational corporations and local SMEs in Malaysia, it is crucial for us to deliver value to our customers. In order to stay true to our company tagline, “Your Personalised Freight Partner”, we have adopted the lean management methodology that has helped us to enhance our company’s performance, improve on team productivity, efficiency and time management. Since the pandemic, mental health is a core concern, therefore,
this award will definitely boost the morale of the team, support our
company’s retention programme and strengthen the quality of our
team’s deliverables. Through this win, we believe it will help the team to
improve on the human performance gaps, and how we can plan ahead
to develop and implement the right strategies that are cost effective and
highly efficient to better serve our customers. Aside from increasing the
team value, this award will also drive us forward to conquer greater
heights in the business and explore new horizons in the industry. It will
further validate our company’s profile to our overseas customers and
all our hard work invested over the years: receiving such a prestigious
