Eastern Suntech Engineering & Construction Sdn. Bhd. (ES) was incorporated in 2011 by Vincent Ng Kheng Aik, an engineer who is a visionary leader focused on providing the most effective solutions for clients. Since incorporation, ES has advanced greatly which speaks for the discipline and dedication of its personnel from varied engineering fields and its young and energetic team.
ES’s vision is to be recognised as an upcoming industry leader in engineering and construction, known for its commitment to Quality, Safety and Speed and aims to achieve sustainable growth and create lasting value for clients, employees and shareholders. ES’s mission is to deliver construction and engineering solutions that prioritise Quality, Safety and Speed and to deliver exceptional services by going the extra mile to cater to clients’ needs.
The turning point for ES was in 2016 when the introduction of GST and the automotive industry slowed down. ES then ventured into the construction sector focusing in Civil and Structural Work after obtaining the CIDB G4 license. ES was awarded its first Turn-Key Project amounting to RM10mil in 2022 and had an exponential growth 2023 with the award of RM100mil Turn-Key Project after obtaining the CIDB G7 license. Today, ES has grown into a prominent institution providing expert consultations and implementations of numerous projects. To further ensure the quality of the services provided, ES is also undergoing the ISO audit which is due to be completed in 2024.
ES has also started its diversification plan into CNC machining, F&B sector, renovation and its own development projects which also focuses on the construction and sales of factory buildings. To tag on the upcoming ESG initiatives, the company has also ventured into Industrialised Building Systems which will reduce the carbon footprint of construction of buildings for clients.
ES has come through numerous challenges. With limited resources, the company managed to pull through with its prime focus of 3M – Manpower, Material and Machinery. ES started hiring prospective talents and focused on grooming these individuals, as well as securing huge credit facilities from its suppliers which allowed it to have a stronger cash flow to service its clients better. ES has since ventured out of the northern region and is looking to expand nationwide, and hopefully out of the country with the end goal of being listed on Bursa Malaysia in 2028.
