EMAX Beauté was founded in 2010 with a strong desire to empower women and instil self-love based on the founder's personal challenges to take on the lack of equality in job opportunities and career growth for women. EMAX prioritises women’s growth in skills, knowledge and self-esteem. The company is now home to Beauté Library for facials, Venusde for hair and scalp care, Curvena for slimming and wellness and B+ Clinic for aesthetics. Its 19 beauty centres are distinguished by urban-modern design and exquisite comfort and are strategically located around the Klang Valley. EMAX Beauté currently has 10 certified doctors and more than 100 beauticians and body specialists who are passionate about providing long-term and sustainable skincare solutions through professional guidance and advice.
EMAX Beauté’s unique selling proposition is People First. The team believes in its vision and follows through because they are looking for growth and know there is always room for that. They also face customers daily and know exactly what they need. People First extends to the manner in which the team approaches the company’s partners and society. EMAX Beauté earns from society, so it wants to give back. This philosophy differentiates EMAX Beauté in a sense that the company is not just about business, but also about people.
There is great synergy between R&D, Training, and HQ with a focus on sharing market insights, trends, and customer needs. EMAX Beauté encourages knowledge sharing sessions and meetings to enhance its services and offerings, staying attuned to customer demands and actively seeks out latest innovations and technology, like no-needle treatments, advanced weight loss equipment, and high-tech hair care. The team regularly attends beauty expos in different countries, including recent visits to Vietnam and South Korea.
EMAX Beauté believes that ESG is crucial for long-term resilience, attracting like-minded customers and partners, and making a significant global impact. The company has selected 6 goals based on United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. EMAX has transitioned to paperless systems, loaning laptops and initiated zero paper invoicing across all outlets.
EMAX Beauté has big plans for 2024 such as subsidised beautician certification from EMAX Academy, sustainability workshops, collaboration with NGOs that champion gender equality, education, health, and climate change. EMAX Beauté has kick-started its recycling and waste management initiatives as well as tree planting among others.
