Hitec Metal Sdn. Bhd. was established in May 1995 to provide Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) Steel Structure Systems and services to the market. The company is formed and managed by a group of experienced professionals from steel structures and various disciplines and backgrounds. Hitec Metal is committed to use the most efficient and up-to-date management, financial, operational and technical methods. Pre-engineered building is a steel structure built over a structural concept of primary members, secondary members, and the cover sheeting connected to each other. The structural members are custom designed to be lighter in weight as well as efficient in strength.
Hitec Metal is highly committed in providing cost effective solutions with better time saving in its practises and fully responsible in providing high quality products and services and work ethics for clients. It is also committed to comply with all applicable requirements and continually improve the effectiveness of the Quality Management System.
Hitec Metal is a CIDB Grade 7 contractor and ISO9001:2015 certified. A wide variety of clear span and multi span frames can be produced based on clients’ specifications and requirements. The company offers complete building solutions, providing one stop service for design, fabricate and installation of PEB Steel System. With pre-engineering, the steel structure system will be fabricated in the company’s 12-acre factory situated in Broga, Negeri Sembilan before being delivered for assembly and erection on site. Such tapered lightweight frame systems allow savings on materials (steels), labour cost on site as well as time required for project completion. PEB Steel Structures are widely applicable on various industrial buildings including factories, warehouses and aircraft hangars.

The company has been embarking on a series of digital transformation and automation, including digitalising backroom operations, as well as increasing automation in its fabrication processes at the Broga factory. The company has been looking for opportunities for technical exchanges from time to time to foster technical skills enhancement as well as business collaboration.

With the expansion of the PSMB Act 2001 which included construction industry under its scope, Hitec Metal has started HRDF contributions since 2021. HRDF levy utilisation rate has provided a good insight for the company to measure and plan programs on staff learning and development. To create long term value for both business and society, Hitec Metal has been involved in various CSR projects to create positive social impact as well as to reduce negative environmental footprint. To name a few, these CSR projects include sponsoring and building of a recycling hut for Tzu Chi Malaysia to encourage recycling of wastes in June 2023, sponsorship for Open Ideas Competition for Student 2022 jointly organised by Lembaga Pembangunan Industri Pembinaan Malaysia (CIDB) and Malaysia Steel Structure Association (MSSA) for Malaysian World Expo 2025 Pavilion – Designing Future Society for Our Lives, staffs technical exchange with PEB Steel in Vietnam in 2019. We are also working towards ISO14001 (Environmental Management Systems) and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety) certification for best practises and business excellence.
