MID Services is an on-demand services platform that caters to households and offices for booking a range of services such as water dispenser servicing, aircon, handyman works, plumbing and aircon fixing. Customers can now book any services at the time and place of choice without hassle and MID-Fixers (in-house technicians) who are professionally trained will be there to fix it.
Mid Services was launched in 2020 during the COVID19 pandemic outbreak to provide convenience and to offer a solution to Malaysians especially in the midst of a lock down. Within four months of its launch, MID has reaped in RM45k in revenue. By December 2021, MID has technicians throughout Malaysia and in Singapore. In September 2022, MID launched a new range of services to include CCTVs, electrical and wiring, interior designing and renovation. By March 2023, the company has hit profitability. In Mid-2023, the company launched new services in manufacturing cabinets/carpentry works as well as custom-made plaster ceilings.
MID is self-funded and with the profits, the company aims to continue reinvesting to launch new services and to develop an AR/VR feature on its website to enhance consumer experiences, provide convenience and save time. With these new features MID Services aims to be able to digitalize, automate and transform the industry to be an online based one stop solution for all household needs, all this while creating new jobs and training to the B40 sector.
