Quantum Computing Sdn. Bhd. (QC), founded in 2019 was innovated based on pressing pain points experienced by manufacturers. The solutions leverage on the advanced access to technologies like machine learning, Big Data, AI and moving forward via quantum computers.

The company believes in active advocacy of automation in manufacturing for Malaysian entities, both hardware and software to build the right competitive edge. Under the broad umbrella of Smart Manufacturing Solutions, Quantum currently has 4 different solutions for Smart Factory, Smart Manufacturing, Smart Asset Maintenance and Smart OT Cybersecurity which are layered with AI capabilities. Thw systems are also in the preliminary cycle of using Quantum as a Service.

The 100% automated data from the machines and processes swiftly connected to EDGE Computing not only provides clean, verified data but also gives instantaneous analytics which help leaders make informed decisions for desired outcomes. Quantum Computing’s solutions have proven outcomes in reducing energy consumption, reducing rejects, reducing wastage of raw material and other essentials like water and gas as it emphasizes on First Time Right Manufacturing.

The organisation is laser focused on ensuring that all our solutions are built to achieve sustainability in support of global requirements, competitiveness and protecting the environment. Achieving lean or First Time Right Manufacturing with automated production trail creates the right landscape for sustainability action, management and accountability.

This continuous improvement and development from the initial version of the solution in 2019 is due to the Management’s focus on building a learning organisation. The development and execution teams have access to a tech playground where they are encouraged to experiment and innovate their ideas as well as customise solutions based on client demands.

The company’s vision is to enable Malaysian Manufacturers to adopt emerging technologies in Smart Manufacturing for optimised production performance. In the journey to achieving this, the company has built a collaborative network with industry partners, regulators and educational institutions to ensure the entire ecosystem from decision makers to emerging talent are included in the progress path. The company received its Malaysia Digital status in May of 2025 from MDEC and have been actively engaging with organisations like Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers (FMM), Malaysia Automation Technology Association (MATA), SAMENTA,SG TVET Education Group, University of Wollogong, Asia Pacific University and Soroptomist International (Iskandar Puteri Chapter).
