Website
Solarlink Energy is a fast-growing end-to-end solar EPCC and battery energy storage systems (BESS) provider, headquartered in Johor Bahru and with regional offices in Kuala Lumpur and Sarawak. Our team is focused on the commercial and industrial sector and is equipped with over a decade of solar industry experience and 40 years of technical expertise in electrical engineering through our parent company, Linkbuild Sdn Bhd.
We have carefully built our supply chain to offer the full suite of EPCC capabilities completely in-house, from design, engineering and licencing, to procurement, warehousing, installation and maintenance. This enables us to have full control over our resources, timelines and costing, which translates into shorter construction lead times, better prices and swift response times for any aftersales issues.
We have also invested heavily into developing our Engineering and Technical team, who are GCPV and OGPV qualified and well-equipped to design and add value to solar projects of any size and nature. We have also undertaken extensive R&D into BESS and are well-positioned to advise our clients through the technical complexities, business use-cases and fast-changing BESS regulations.
Winning the SME100 award is a validation of our hard work and relentless dedication to our craft. As a young but driven company, this recognition provides a huge boost to our credibility, motivates our rapidly growing team, and provides a springboard for us to accelerate our growth in 2026. Our mission has always been to “educate, encourage and energise” Malaysian businesses to go green by harnessing the power of the sun and the SME100 award gives us a great platform to achieve our green ambitions.
Innovation is the cornerstone of our business. Notably, to improve our site performance monitoring, we have built an in-house monitoring software which unifies all our sites into a single platform for ease of oversight and efficient maintenance. Additionally, we have invested into state-of-the-art O&M equipment such as thermal drones and robotic solar panel cleaners for effective and efficient aftersales care. AI is also regularly used to help with data processing and analysis and we are further exploring ways to harness AI to enhance system performance and predictive fault identification and prevention.
Finally, as we are in the business of sustainability, we practice what we preach. Our office is equipped with a solar system which supplies 100% of our energy needs so we are net zero. The solar energy is also used to charge our EV cars to further reduce carbon emissions. Our compound lighting is also powered by solar energy stored in batteries during the day. Heat reflecting paint on our roof naturally cools the office and reduces our need for air conditioning. To educate our community, we have organised free seminars on solar and BESS and are partnering with suppliers and government bodies to help power rural communities without access to the grid.
Our journey is just beginning, and we are grateful for the recognition and exposure that the SME100 award will bring to our company. The best is yet to be!
